1. Workshop "Launching the EaPpeal project"  Description: The 1-day workshop aims at officially launching the EaPpeal project within our local community. Receiving feedback and gathering opinions/useful suggestions from participants are our main targets for this workshop. In the first part of the workshop, the envisaged activities, objectives of EaPpeal including a brief overview of our administrative and management activities, whereas during the second part there will be an opportunity to debate and come up with research ideas and useful recommendations for a better implementation of our project’s activities. Roundtables "The necessity to engage: the Eastern Partnership and grassroots involvement" Description: The roundtable debates will be the barometer according to which the main event of the EaPpeal project, the International Conference EURINT 2016, will be shaped and guided. These roundtables will offer us a strong flavour of the perceptions, expectations and recommendations in Ukraine and Moldova. Thus, they will be entirely devoted to stimulating debate on the ground, In Moldova and Ukraine, with a minimum input from the organisers (CSE-UAIC). International Conference EURINT 2016 “The Eastern Partnership under strain - time for a rethink?”  Description: The international conference EURINT 2016 “The Eastern Partnership under strain - time for a rethink?” aims to draw together scholars, researchers, experts, civil society activists and to encourage a constructive exchange of views on the effectiveness of the EaP and on the future of the EU policies in the light of the events in Ukraine. Hence, the purpose of this event is to provide a proper context for mutual dialogue, joint knowledge and a better understanding of the serious security challenges the EU faces in it eastern neighbourhood.  Target groups: academic staff, MA and PhD students, researchers, professional group members, civil society representatives, general public Centre for European Studies- Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania, May 20-21, 2016 | conference website 4. Workshop "EaPpeal - ways of engaging further" Description: The 1-day workshop aims at marking the official closure of the EaPpeal project. Receiving feedback and gathering opinions/useful suggestions for the full exploitation of our project’s results and research undertaken throughout the project’s lifespan represent the main reasons for organizing this event. Moreover, a guide of good practices for the future efficient exploitation of our project results and contacts established - previously drafted by the EaPpeal team - will be discussed.
