Institutions, digitization and regional development in the European Union

The workshop represents the first event organized in the framework of the project INDI-DeR (Institutions, digitization and regional
development in the European Union). The project aims to fill the lack of research on the topic of interdependencies between institutions
and digitalization from the perspective of regional development, core-periphery patterns, and the inequalities dynamics. INDI-DeR
addresses this gap, considering the accelerating rate of digitalization in economy and society, and the institutional transformations
generated by it. The project is based on an interdisciplinary approach gathering researchers from economy, psychology, geography,
regional studies, law, and ICT in order to better address the strategic priorities for enhancing the digitalization process and mitigating the
development gaps.

Atelierul reprezintă primul eveniment de diseminare din cadrul proiectului INDI-DeR (Instituții, digitalizare și dezvoltare regională în
Uniunea Europeană). Proiectul își propune să acopere lipsa cercetărilor pe tema interdependențelor dintre instituții și digitalizare din
perspectiva dezvoltării regionale, a modelelor centru-periferie și a evoluției in timp a inegalităților. INDI-DeR abordează această temă
ținând cont de ritmul accelerat al digitalizării în economie și societate, precum și transformările instituționale generate de acest proces.
Proiectul se bazează pe o abordare interdisciplinară care strânge cercetători din economie, psihologie, geografie, studii regionale, drept
și IT pentru a adresa prioritățile strategice pentru îmbunătățirea procesului de digitalizare și atenuarea decalajelor de dezvoltare.
Evenimentule ste deschis tuturor celor interesați de subiect. Titlul, autorii și rezumatele (150-200 de cuvinte) se trimit prin email la :

Atelier INDI-DeR : Institutions, numérisation et développement régional dans l'Union Européenne

L'atelier représente le premier événement de diffusion du projet INDI-DeR (Institutions, numérisation et développement régional dans
l'Union européenne). Le projet vise à combler le manque de recherche sur le thème des interdépendances entre les institutions et la
numérisation sous l'angle du développement régional, des modèles centre-périphérie et de la dynamique des inégalités. INDI-DeR
comble cette lacune, compte tenu de l'accélération du rythme de numérisation de l'économie et de la société, et des transformations
institutionnelles qu'elle génère. Le projet est basé sur une approche interdisciplinaire rassemblant des chercheurs de l'économie, de la
psychologie, de la géographie, des études régionales, du droit et des TIC afin de mieux répondre aux priorités stratégiques pour
améliorer le processus de numérisation et atténuer les écarts de développement.
L'atelier est ouvert à la fois aux membres du projet et aux experts/scientifiques externes intéressés par le sujet. Le titre, les auteurs et
les résumés (150-200 mots) doivent être envoyés à ibanescu.bogdan@uaic.ro, au plus tard le 30 septembre.
