The Centre for Excellence "Jean Monnet" for European Studies is the result of the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi participation in the project competition of 2009 within the LLLP European programme, Jean Monnet subprogramme (2009-2756/001-011). The project is based on Jean Monnet Department "The Economy and policy of the European integration" (in charge, Professor Gabriela Carmen Pascariu, Ph.D.) and is going on throughout 5 years (September 1st 2009 - August 31st 2014). The first three years are co-financed through the LLLP programme.
