Bogdan Constantin
Ibanescu
is a researcher
at Centre for European Studies, Alexandru Ioan Cuza
University from Iasi. He has a PhD in Human Geography
obtained in 2012 at Bordeaux Montaigne University with a
thesis on rural tourism in peripheral areas. His main
research areas are geography of tourism, spatial analysis
and European peripheries. He has a 5 years teaching
experience in universities from Romania, Morocco and France
on topics related to geography of tourism, spatial analysis,
project management, peripheral spaces. He benefited from a
postdoctoral fellowship in Morocco during 6 months (2013) on
tourism potential of peripheral areas and from a
postdoctoral. He participated in several research projects
and abroad courses and trainings: student fellowship
(France, 2007), master fellowship (France, 2008-2009),
summer school (Canada, 2012). Beside its academic
experience, he has a 2 years experience as a research
associate of International Geostrategic Maritime Observatory
(IGMO), a French think-tank
